I posted, and you came! The New Year's Day Sale was a wild event. I want to thank all of you for coming, and for being so patient! There were 4 cutting stations, 5 of us working, and one cash register. Yep, that was the glitch. I put the second one out there, stocked it changed the paper and when the doors opened it just gave me an error message. Have I whined about technology lately? When the shop closed I was able to drill down, and realized that the backup batteries needed to be changed...So, during the day, we just used plan B. The fact that all of you were willing to wait a little longer to be rung up was key. Thank you so much!
I also want to thank you for reading. This is my 100th post! It has been fun for me to share a little of what goes on at the shop, and in my life. I love looking at my little map and seeing that people from all over the world are stopping by. Leave me a comment by Wednesday at midnight, and I will draw for a $25 gift certificate to be used in the shop. Yes, we do mail order.
Today, I will put the final border on that "surprise" quilt I found in my sewing room. Picture tomorrow. J

I had a lot of fun shopping your sale on Friday! It was just such a festive air, and everyone who works there is so friendly and welcoming, even under pressure. And it's always great being surrounded by a bunch of like-minded fabric lovers.
Y'all rock! Keep up the great work. :)
Wow - Noel didn't tell me you worked the whole day with one register. You gals are amazing!
Ok, Ok, Julie...since there is a drawing involved...I will finally comment! I have wanted to before but never took the time to figure out just HOW to do it!
I visit your blog often and love it, your shop (my second home), and your staff!
Wow, that's a good giveaway, count me in!
Hi Julie! Congrats on your 100th post...I enjoyed the sale, and even managed to stay within my budget!...See you soon,
Katie
Wow, If I win it's a ROAD TRIP!!! Woo hoo. I always enjoy shopping at your place!
First time to write on anyone's blog, but the chance to win a $25 gift certificate is worth it!

I'm so sad that I missed your NYD sale, but glad to hear it was such a success. I'll be in soon...lots of baby quilts to make this year!
I missed the New Year's Day sale because I was away at the ocean but I took a holiday kit with me that I purchased from your after-Christmas sale and got about halfway through it. I am determined to have it done by NEXT Christmas! Your shop is lovely and I look forward to many more visits.
Hi there
Love the store - your staff is sooo patient
